We may be a bit behind on releasing Dental Anthropology issues, but have no fear! The first issue of 2016, volume 29, has arrived! We have also released a new style guide for contributors to help the process move along much quicker, so we can bring you the latest and greatest in the dental world. Dahlberg Award Winners 2016
Thank you to everyone who submitted papers and those who acted as judges for this year's Dahlberg student paper competition! I am please to announce our winners:
Evelyn Glaze, for her paper on molar size patterns in Paranthropus
Amy Michael, for her paper on dental histology in samples from a Maya rock shelter.

2016 DAA Student Competitions Announced!
The DAA sponsors two competitions for students to compete in- the Albert A. Dahlberg Prize for best student paper and the C.G. Turner/CUP poster competition. Please see more information below.
DAA 2016 Workshop Announced!
The workshop this year will be on dental microwear and is hosted by our journal editor, Dr. Chris Schmidt, and Dr. James Watson!
The workshop will be held Wednesday, April 13th from 9am-4pm. It is free to DAA members and space is limited so be sure to email Dr. Loren Lease to reserve your spot!
